Start with what you can see
What is your email doing?
Choose what sounds closest. If you do not know what’s wrong, start there.
A sensible first look
A few simple observations can tell us where to look first.
Can you send? Can you receive? Does webmail work? Is one device affected or all of them? What changed, and what exact message do you see?
These clues help narrow the route. They do not require you to diagnose the underlying cause.
Three useful distinctions
Some email problems need a little more care.
Why are my emails going to spam?
The cause can involve how the domain proves mail is genuine, sending behaviour, reputation, content or recipient filtering. The deeper terms can wait until we know which pattern you are seeing.
Works in webmail but not on the phone?
The problem may be local to the device or mail app rather than the mailbox itself. We can help separate those possibilities without guessing at settings.
Old mail only sitting on one computer?
Tell us before anything changes. Some older setups keep historical messages locally rather than on the server, and recovery should not be assumed.
Before the route changes
Moving email? Know where the old mail lives first.
Mailboxes, historical messages, domain routing and device setup can be separate pieces. We can help map the move before anything is changed.
